5 days private tour from Marrakech to the Sahara Desert! Adventurous yet luxurious!

Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate

Around 9 am we start our tour along the beautiful Atlas Mountains to Ait Ben Haddou. In Ait Ben Haddou we visit the kasbah (UNESCO World Heritage). There is an opportunity to take pictures of the beautiful surroundings. After lunch we drive to Ouarzazate, the Hollywood of Morocco. You are free to tour the city or visit the movie studios. Dinner and overnight in a Riad.

Day 2: Ouarzazate – Dades gorge – Todra gorge

‘We start the day with a bit off road towards Skoura. Skoura is known for its palm groves and Kasbahs. We continue to Kelaat M’Gouna, known for its roses and the annual rose festival. Then we drive via Boumalne to Tinghir. We visit the Dades gorge. After lunch we continue our way to the Todra valley. Dinner and overnight in a Berber hotel with beautiful views of the gorge.

Day 3: Todra gorge – Tinghir – Alnif – Tazzarine – Zagora – M’hamid

After breakfast we leave for Alnif and Tazzarine (small Berber villages). We will have lunch in Zagora. Then we head for M’hamid, we stop in Tamegroute where we visit the Koran library (Quran museum) – optional. We continue our way through the forest of Ouled Brahim. In M’hamid we drive a bit off road towards our camp in the desert. Dinner and overnight in tents.

Day 4: M’hamid – Chegaga

After breakfast we leave by 4×4 back to the heart of M’Hamid where the camels are ready for a ride. After the camel ride we go with our 4x4x to one of the largest sand dunes in Morocco: Chegaga. We have lunch at an oasis. Arriving in Chegaga we have our dinner and we sleep in tent camps.

Day 5: Chegaga –Foum Zguid – Taznakht – Marrakech

Early risers can enjoy the sunrise. After breakfast we depart back to Marrakech. We pay a short visit to the beautiful dry beds of the Draa valley. Then we drive past Foum Zguid and Taznakht where we will have lunch. are there Once you have arrived in Marrakech, the driver can drop you off wherever you want.

This tour can still be fully adapted to your wishes.

Attention! This program is only possible if you arrive in Marrakech at 9am and have a flight back from Marrakech in the late afternoon/evening. Otherwise, this tour will be 1 or 2 days longer.
