3 days tour to the Sahara desert! Unique Sahara feel experience from Marrakech.

Day 1 Marrakech – M’hamid

Early in the morning we start our tour along the beautiful Atlas Mountains to Ait Ben Haddou. In Ait Ben Haddou we visit the kasbah (UNESCO World Heritage). Here we have lunch and there are opportunities to take pictures of the beautiful surroundings.

Then we leave via Ouarzazate towards M’hamid. We pass the Draa valley and its palm trees and beautiful Kashbas. We drive through the villages of Agdz and Zagora and also through the valley of Ouled Brahim Elfaija. In M’hamid we continue towards the camp in the desert where we will arrive at sunset. Dinner and overnight are in a tent camp.

Day 2 M’hamid – Chegaga

We have breakfast at the camp and then we leave by 4×4 back to the heart of M’Hamid. We are expected there for a camel ride. After camel adventure we will go to one of the biggest sand dunes in Morocco called Chegaga. We will have lunch on the way at a beautiful oasis. Arriving in Chegage we have dinner and overnight in a beautiful tented camp.

Day 3 Chegaga – Foum Zguid – Taznakht – Marrakech

After the sunrise, we will have our breakfast and depart back to Marrakech. We pay a short visit to the beautiful dry beds of the Draa valley. Then we drive past Foum Zguid and Taznakht, here we will have lunch. During this route there are opportunities to take pictures. When you arrive in Marrakech, our driver will drop you off at the riad or any other location.

Attention! This program is only possible if you arrive in Marrakech at 9am and have a flight back from Marrakech in the late afternoon/evening. Otherwise, this tour will be 1 or 2 days longer.
