Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Skoura – Kelaat M’Gouna – Todra
Our tour starts around 9:00 am along the beautiful Atlas Mountains to Ait Ben Haddou. In Ait Ben Haddou we visit the kasbah (UNESCO World Heritage). There is an opportunity to take pictures of the beautiful surroundings. We then leave for Ouarzazate (Hollywood in Morocco). In Ouarzazate we have lunch and drive towards Skoura (a bit off-road). We continue to Kelaat M’Gouna, known for its roses and the annual rose festival. From there we head towards the Todra Gorge. Dinner and sleep in a Berber hotel with a view of the gorge.
Day 2: Todra – Tinejdad – Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast you will get a tour from our guide through the village with a visit to the impressive gorge. Then we drive to Tinejdad where we have lunch. After lunch drive to Merzouga. Here the camels are waiting for us for a ride through the dunes. Dinner and overnight in the tented camp at the foot of the dunes.
Day 3: Merzouga –Tazarine – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Early risers can enjoy the beautiful sunrise. After breakfast depart for Marrakech passing the villages of Tafilalt, Tazarine and Agdez via the Draa valley. We will have lunch in Agdez or Ouarzazte. After lunch we continue our way to Marrakech.
Attention! This program is only possible if you arrive in Marrakech at 9am and have a flight back from Marrakech in the late afternoon/evening. Otherwise, this tour will be 1 or 2 days longer.
